We were granted 501(c)3 status on December 6th, 2024.

Board members acquired the nucleus of the Chontayacu Reserve, which will only get bigger.

We started reforesting cow pastures in Chontayacu using a variety of native seedlings. Some of these plants are now fruiting and attracting species that had left the valley, including birds and mammals.

We began surveying the biodiversity of Chontayacu, finding abundant populations of Nymphargus Siren, an endangered glass frog. Other species include Andean Bears, mountain tapirs and mahogany trees.
