Over 60 Native
Tree Species

We are reforesting with 60 different native tree species we are collecting from forest trails and/or germinating in our green house.

Newly identified species of tree native to the wet, mountainous forests of the Andes.

Can grow up to 20-30 meters tall.  A pioneer tree species, i.e. one of the first one to recolonize deforested habitat.

Species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae (Daisies). It is found only in Ecuador and is threatened by habitat loss.
